After a few weeks off from football, following the World Cup in Germany, we are soon to set off on another season.
First base is registration on 2nd September at Tillingbourne School. The following week sees matches kicking off in the Horsham league for our sides at U13, U12 and U11, with the Tadworth league kicking off in late September for our U10 – U8 teams.
WORLD CUP FUN DAY - SATURDAY 17TH JUNE 2006 For the first time, we held the event on the Heath, with the first XI cricketers decanting to Shalford for the afternoon – thanks chaps! Fun Day was a resounding success, with over 250 people attending, and four tournaments in operation during the afternoon. The day raised £850 for club funds, so well done to everybody for their truly excellent efforts.
Trophies were celebrated – League wins for U10 Eagles, U9 Eagles, U9 Griffins, and promotion for our U11 side to the B division of the Horsham league as runners-up. Hearty congratulations to all concerned.

2005-06 Eagles U13s Disband Always blazing a trail for the club, the senior Eagles team at U13 from last season have decided to call it a day, and disband. Being the first team to form at the club, it has always been great fun and very rewarding for all concerned, even if recently, survival has been the watch word considering numbers available, injuries and so on. The team’s finest hour was as Runners-Up at the Guildford Saints tournament of 2004, whose achievement no other Albury team has yet been able to match! With thanks to all the squad for their excellent efforts over the past five seasons, and wishing them well at their new clubs – Cranleigh, Brockham, Capel and Ewhurst. It was also a great privilege to offer them coaching and support. Hopefully, some of this squad will return to play for the senior Albury team in a few years time.
