Albury Eagles 2 – 0 Copthorne
Albury Eagles under 14s strengthened their fourth place position in the Horsham League with a good 2 - 0 home win against Copthorne. Phil Smith grabbed the lead for the Eagles after 10 minutes, in a first half that saw a strong and determined Copthorne make things difficult for the under 14s.
With tight defensive performances by Colby Silver, George Duff and Miles Hamer, and the tireless work of Man of the Match Tom Gill, the Eagles were able to further their lead in the second half . Harvey Marshall anticipated a loose goal kick from the Copthorne keeper and a slick combination of passes between Tom Beazley and Christopher Brooks out-witted the Copthorne defence to allow Christopher to score and seal the game for the Eagles.

Holmbury Wolves 2 – 6 Albury Eagles
After their excellent match last week, the Eagles had to work a lot harder to keep possession of the ball. Starting with an early goal by Brent within the first 2 minutes of the match but then an equaliser from the Wolves soon after, the Eagles had to show their skills in team work and abilities to score further goals by Sam (3) and Jay (2), ending with a final score of 6-2. Brent and Jasper in defence made it difficult for the Holmbury Wolves to get close to scoring past Archie our goalkeeper. The midfielders Nathaniel and Daniel managed to keep the game flowing in helping defence and forwards when necessary. Well done to the Eagles team.
