Drawing from several towns and villages within a 20 mile radius, Albury Eagles Football Club has quickly grown to become a friendly and viable sporting venture, with a visionary aim of providing rural soccer in the Tillingbourne Valley for children up to under 16 level.

Training at the outset began with a mere eight players, growing by September 2002 to 38, by April 2005 to over 130, and by November 2009 to 220 players, with seventeen distinct teams operating in the current 2009-2010 season.

Our club colours are light blue and dark blue, the founding colours of our hosts, Albury Cricket Club. Parents and players alike have been keen to see training and matches all accomplished by Saturday lunchtime, leaving the rest of the weekend free for your many other family activities.

We are very grateful to the local business community who very quickly helped us get up and running, with kind donations supplying kit, training equipment, balls and goals for our first few games. Sincere thanks are also due to Albury Cricket and Football Club, who have kindly provided us with playing and training facilities.

Albury Eagles Football Club is now part of the overall sporting structure that Albury Cricket Club has become, bringing together seniors and juniors in both football and cricket. We are also members of Surrey County FA, Tadworth Schools League and Horsham and District Youth Football League. In May 2005, Albury Eagles FC attained the prestigious FA Charter Standard Club award.

Due to the rapid growth of the club, training and matches are now offered at a selection of venues on a Saturday morning from 9am. Our default ground remains Albury Cricket Ground on Albury Heath, whilst we now also regularly use Tillingbourne School (Chilworth), and occasionally grounds at Broadwater School (Godalming), Wonersh Cricket Club, Bramley Cricket Club and Alfold Football Club.

Membership is considered from school age Year 1 ( U6s ) with friendlies played up to U7. League play begins at U8 level, with 7 a side mini-soccer, the 11-a-side format starting from U11s. In the summer months, via Albury Junior Cricket Club, cricket coaching is also offered on Albury Heath on Friday evenings.
